Hello and welcome! I am a HAES-informed registered dietitian passionate and dedicated to helping individuals, athletes and families develop sustainable, flexible and intuitive relationships with food and body. I practice from the standpoint that food is fuel and meant to nourish us but there are also many other aspects of food that are equally important including social connection, cultural diversity, and personal enjoyment. I have experience in acute clinical care, oncology care and the treatment of eating disorders for adults and adolescents at the residential, IOP and outpatient level of care. I have also worked with high school sports teams to integrate flexible and intuitive relationships with food and body in the context of sports nutrition. I am passionate about meeting folks where they are at and helping you define what health means to you. In our work together you can expect a non-judgmental space to challenge food and weight bias and practice self-compassion as you navigate what health means to you.
I’m a registered dietitian with a background in eating disorder treatment and clinical nutrition. I have a foundational understanding of nutrition sciences through my education and training but I also know that there is more to food than just the nutrients it provides. Our relationships with food and our bodies can also play a role in our physical health and emotional health. I’m someone that cares about your wellbeing and happiness and I take a person-centered and compassionate approach to the nutrition care I provide. I believe eating can nourish our bodies as well as our souls and I believe my role as your dietitian is not only to provide you with information, but also collaborate with you to help you cultivate a better relationship with food and your body so you can live a fully nourished life. I’m excited to get to know you and support you on your journey!
